COMPOSITION (per 100 gr):  
Trimethroprim                                                    2 gr
Sulfadiazine                                                     10 gr

TARGET SPECIES
Calves, piglets, broilers.

INDICATIONS
Calves: Treatment of diarrhea, caused by bacterias sensitive at the combination of trimethoprime and sulfadiazine. Treatment of urine infection.
Piglets: Treatment of infections of urinary system, such as renitis, cystitis, omphalitis.
Treatment of diarrhea situation caused by bacterias.
Broilers: Treatment of diarrhea situation caused by bacterias, chronic respiratory insufficiency.

DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Sulfadiazine + Trimethoprime is administered into the potable water at the following quantities:
Calves, piglets: The recommended dosage is 10 gr of the product per 40 kg of the body weight, divided at two dosages. The treatment is applied for 5 days.
Broilers: 15-30 mg / kgr of body weight daily

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not administer to ruminants, whose rumen functions normally. (Adults)

UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS
Usually, are not observed. At high dosages and during long –term treatment, may reduce the level of folic acid. The damage is reversible by administrating folic acid. Rarely, reactions of hypersensitivity (itch etc) and undesirable actions of sulfonamides (reactions of hypersensitivity, renal damages, gastrointestal disorders)

INTERACTION WITH OTHER MEDICAMENTS
When it is administered simultaneously with cyclosporines, a reduction of the efficacy of them is caused.

Do not administer at animals in pregnancy and lactation.
